Normalerweise dauert es an die drei Monate, bis sich ein Kind wirklich für seinen Musikunterricht interessiert. Jetzt stell dir mal vor, wie das ist, wenn die Stunden so unregelmäßig stattfinden und man nicht weiß, ob überhaupt jemand kommt ... /Wie läuft das denn ab?/Na, mir ist aufgefallen, dass gegen 18 Uhr alle da sind. Ich setze mich dann einfach mit meiner Trommel hin, fange an zu spielen und dann geht das ganz von alleine./So ist es ja irgendwie oft: Man kommt an, weiß nicht so recht, guckt ein bisschen und irgendwann fühlt man sich wohl ... aber das braucht Zeit.
In my class in general it takes a good three months to get a kid interested, so just imagine, the randomness of not knowing if they’ll come or not .../So how does it work?/Well I noticed that they’re all there around 6pm. So I stand there with my drum, I play and it sort of just rolls from there./But I mean it’s always a bit like that: you get there, you don’t really know what, you have a go, and at some point you chill out—but it takes time.
